Vienna Woods
Vienna is surrounded by a green belt consisting mainly of the Vienna Woods.
Tour the Southern Vienna Woods, visit the Seegrotte with a boat trip on
the largest subterranean lake in Europe, visit the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz
and the former hunting lodge Mayerling (the location where the tragedy of
Crown Prince Rudolph took place), walking tour through the city of Baden
with its thermal spas.

Wachau Danube Valley
The Wachau is one of the most magnificent stretches of river scenery in
Europe and is to be found on UNESCO’s list of world heritage sights.
Driving through the picturesque villages along the Danube River to the
medieval town of Dürnstein, where King Richard Lion Heart was imprisoned.
Visit of the Benedictine Abbey of Melk. There is the possibility to take
a boat trip on the Danube or a wine tasting.

Klosterneuburg
The history of the Abbey of Klosterneuburg goes back to the Babenberg Margrave
Leopold III, who was later declared to be the patron saint of Austria. Visit
of the abbey, the museum and the former imperial apartments. Wine tasting
in the abbey’s wine cellars is also available.

Burgenland
Drive to "Vienna’s seaside”, the Neusiedl lake. Boat trip
on the steppe-type lake with maximum depths of two meters, where you can
watch rare birdlife in the reeds of the National Park. Walking tour through
the town of Rust with its typical rural houses and many storks’ nests.
Visit of the region’s capital Eisenstadt with Esterházy Palace
and the museum and mausoleum of Joseph Haydn.
